Stewardship over Ownership

God has entrusted every believer with a gift of His grace. These gifts were not given for personal recognition or comparison. They were given so that we can serve one another, strengthen the body of Christ, and bring glory to the Lord.
In 1 Peter 4, we are reminded that faithful stewardship begins with the heart. Our inward attitude shapes the way we care for others. Our outward administration reveals how we use the gifts God has placed in our hands. Our upward adoration keeps the focus where it belongs, on the God who provides the strength and deserves all the glory.
This passage teaches us that our talents are tied together. The church is strongest when each person faithfully serves according to the grace they have received. No gift is too small. No act of service is insignificant. Every believer has a meaningful role in the work God is doing through His people.
“As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards…”
1 Peter 4:10a NKJV
This message invites us to consider how we are using the gifts God has entrusted to us. Are we serving others with love and humility? Are we allowing our gifts to strengthen the church? Are we seeking recognition for ourselves, or are we directing the praise back to the Lord?
