Counseling

Navigating life’s challenges can be easier with the guidance of a biblical counselor who shares your faith. Whether you’re facing relationship issues, anxiety, depression, or other life challenges, we are here to help you find the healing and transformation you seek.

When requesting counseling from Second Baptist Church, know that we integrate our Christian faith in the counseling process.

How to Start

These questions can help you better understand our counseling approach and ensure our values align with yours:

1. How do you integrate your faith into your daily life?
2. What is your current church involvement?

We recognize the value of biblically based counseling, and our counseling services are provided by trained individuals within our church community who are equipped to offer support, guidance, and prayer in various life situations. However, it’s essential to note that while our counselors are compassionate and knowledgeable, they are not professional counselors or licensed therapists.

In cases where the situation is beyond our scope or expertise, or if professional medical or psychological intervention is necessary, we will refer you to a qualified third-party counselor or medical professional.

Your well-being and best interests are our priority, and we strive to ensure you receive the appropriate care and support tailored to your needs.

Please note that our church cannot and does not provide any guarantees related to an individual counseling profile. If you are referred to third-party therapists, you should check with the appropriate state regulatory body for licensing credentials.
