Nursery Ministry (0 to 4 years old)
At Second Baptist Church of Amarillo, we believe that even our littlest ones are a precious part of God’s family.
Our Nursery Ministry provides a safe, loving environment where infants to 4-year-olds can begin to experience God’s love. Through simple Bible stories, songs, and play, we nurture their hearts and minds in a way that reflects Christ’s care.
Let the little children come to me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God” (Luke 18:16, NKJV).
We consider it a privilege to care for your little ones while you worship and grow in your faith.
Kids Ministry (5 years old to 6th grade)
Our Kids Ministry is designed to engage children aged 5 to 6th grade in a fun and dynamic way that helps them discover who Jesus is. Through interactive Bible lessons, exciting worship, and creative activities, we aim to help kids build a strong foundation of faith that will guide them for the rest of their lives.
We focus on teaching Biblical truths in a way that kids can understand and apply to their daily lives.
Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6 (NKJV).
We believe in partnering with parents to raise the next generation of Christ-followers.
Youth Ministry (7th graders to 12th grade)
Our Youth Ministry is a vibrant and welcoming community for students in 7th grade through 12th grade.
This ministry helps young people grow in their faith and navigate life’s challenges through Bible study, small groups, and engaging activities.
We focus on fostering relationships with Christ, building friendships, and encouraging them to live out their faith boldly in their schools and communities. “Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity” (1 Timothy 4:12, NKJV). Our goal is to help our youth become confident in their identity in Christ and their role in the world.
